Aurora, IL: Bravilor Bonamat released a new mobile ordering application for its award winning, bean-to-cup, fully automatic espresso brewer; the Sego™. The Contactless Coffee Control (CCC) app is a swift and simple to use intuitive app for touchless coffee selection and dispensing.
“Contactless ordering helps consumers and businesses adapt to safety and health concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic. Many consumers feel more comfortable using their personal mobile device instead of a touchscreen”, said Arjan de Groot, Vice President for Bravilor Bonamat, LLC. “We recognize that these are difficult times for the Office Coffee Service and Hospitality industries and want to do what we can to help keep their customers feel safe. So, in addition to the anti-microbial films we offer for our touchscreen equipment, we’ve created a new, completely touchless ordering application.”
While other touchless options are available, the consumer experience for QR code and internet based brewer solutions involves a slower multi-step ordering process that comes with monthly data or subscription cost to the operator. The Bravilor CCC app kit is a low cost, one-time purchase for distributors and operators. The app kit is easily connected to the SEGO™ at the front of the machine and uses Near Field Communication (NFC), the same technology used by other popular mobile device applications. Once set up, consumers can download the free app directly from the front of the SEGO™, or through the Apple app or Google Play Store. The easy to use app is always ready and available to the consumer after the first download and is a seamless and efficient touchless ordering solution.
